"Bishop Gwajima was arrested by airport police coming from abroad and taken to the Central Police Station Special Zone and questioned, but released on bail and his cell phone being held for investigation," the source said.

"It is really the Bishop Gwajima has been arrested by police today (yesterday) morning coming from abroad, was interrogated for four hours," he said.
He said after finishing the interview, he was released on bail for him to continue his duties.
Special Zone Police Commander of Dar es Salaam, Commissioner Sirro, when asked to Tanzania, confirmed the arrest of Bishop Gwajima.
"Ameletwa has interviewed, has been granted bail and the investigation is ongoing," he said.
Military police began to search the bishop Gwajima since June 16 this year, after troops besiege his home in the Salasala.
The main reason for Bishop Gwajima is sought for questioning about his sermons he gave to his church Ubungo Maji, June 11, this year.
In a sermon that was being distributed to various social networks, Bishop Gwajima was heard to criticize the performance of former President Jakaya Kikwete.
He also heard advising President Dr. John Magufuli, moving Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) if they refused to hand him over the reins of the party.
