Nongovernmental institution known as Twaweza, has given
research report related to the performance of the government's five-phase,
under President John Magufuli, writes Pendo Omary.
Twaweza has released the results of the study today in Dar
es Salaam, while the act of the President Magufuli to deny to imports sugar
from abroad with a removing of civil servants is some of stumbling blocks among
citizens.
The study was conducted with 1,813 from the second
independent group of voices of citizens that was the 11 phases of phone calls
between the new group on 4 June and on 20 June, with 206 in mainland Tanzania
only.
"Citizens were asked what actions of the President
Magufuli that they completely disagree, the issue of preventing the importation
of sugar and indicative pricing. Three out of ten (32 percent) cited the issue
and say they do not condoning it, "says part of the report.
Despite of the public support the act of President Magufuli for
removing executives who are accused of committing outrages but protested the
procedure used.
"Eight out of ten citizens who are equal to 76 percent
of executives say they have to be removed only when there is evidence of bad
actions," the report states.
The report also has brought the issue of awareness of
citizens on different issues going on in the country, which states that one out
of the 20's gets enough information about politics in the country.
