The government plans to announce to the public the names of beneficiaries of higher education loans that have not started to recover money for Students Loans Board of Higher Education.Speaking to journalists after the closing exhibition of colleges, Institutions of Higher Education, Science and Technology held in Karimjee grounds in Dar es Salaam, Maimuna Postman, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has said that these names will begin broadcast next week.I urge all those who benefit from higher education credits, go and repay their loans, for the week starting tomorrow the names of all debtors who have started to recover their payments will be written publicly, "he said.
He said, who escaped to repay their loans causing some students who can not afford to miss the opportunity to get credit at a time.
"Recognise that money is not the board or ministry, are public funds and that they fail to pay they hinder others get credit," he said.
