LISSU TORTURED MAGUFULI THROUTH THE LAWS

TUNDU Lissu, Singida East MP said,the one who has authority to restrict political meetings are the Chief of Police District (OCD) only, writes Faki Sosi.
He said the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania offers the same direction and not otherwise and that the president has no authority to say or do anything about the public meetings.
Lissu has issued that statement today in Magistrate Magistrate's Court in Dar es Salaam after a trial he is accused by the excitation was caused by his statement of 'Dictator Uchwara.'
Recently President John Magufuli said that rallies should be made by members of parliament and the local councilors in their areas.
As in the grounds of the court Lissu said "If you want to know this is dektetor uchurwa includes his statement of wanting people to hold meetings in their areas.
"The law of Tanzania states that any party registered permanent registration, has the right to make a rally anywhere in the country except in the barracks of the National army. Magufuli is not reading the law, thinks in his head is not the law, '' he said Lissu.
He stressed that the public hearings planned to be done on 1 September this year will continue.And also to have case in the court does not preclude doing politics.
"We have the right as he is righteous President John Magufuli and ole Sendeka, when the court will tell us to stop, we will leave," said Lissu.
