The Court of the Resident's Judge of Kisutu has issued a
decision about the matters were bringing conflict between two sides in the case of inflammatory
concerning Lissu the Attorney General of the Party for Democracy and Progress
(CHADEMA), writes Faki Sosi .
Arguments that raised by the prosecution when the
case was mentioned for the first time that the lawyer Peter Kibatala has no
legitimacy to defend Lissu in that case because he is the one of the witnesses
to the side of the Republic, was held decision. Cyprian Mkeha, the judge in
charge in that court has issued a decision to dismiss the counsel for the
prosecution's arguments. Judge Mkeha has said that no any law to hinder
Kibatala to defend his customer, so he will continue to defend Lissu. After the
ruling, the case will be mentioned again on 19 September this year.
