Waitara said it's surprising to see that the declaration of MPs and councilors urging them to make politics only in their own areas is not obeyed , because CCM is conducting meetings but opposition leaders were detained.
"Christopher Ole Sendeka spokesman of the party and not the MP, has held a meeting in Arusha and police were guarding and did not resist, but apart from that the parties that have no MPs or councilors, how they will get new members without meetings?" he questioned
In other action, Waitara insists to continue with their plans to conduct meetings and demonstrations nationwide from September 01, this year to protest indicators of dictatorship which began to appear in the government.
"Holding rallies is a constitutional right and legal for all parties, therefore UKUTA is still over there, because this is a country of pluralism, if Chadem do not do development meetings,let them speak to citizens," he said.
