Chairman of the East African Community (EAC), and the
President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. John Pombe Magufuli has urged
the countries of South Sudan and Burundi to maintain peace for the development
of countries and communities in general
.when he was passing the information of
emergence meeting of the EAC leaders meet in Dar es Salaam yesterday President
Dr. Magufuli has urged those countries experiencing conflict and chaos stay
together and agree in order to maintain peace in those nations. Dr. Magufuli
has used the opportunity to urge the country of southern Sudan to help those
parties are in conflict to lay down their arms for discussion in order to
prevent more deaths due to the crisis that led to war in the country.
In
addition President Magufuli said the information mediator of the crisis in
Burundi, Hon. Benjamin Mkapa has issued several recommendations that will help
to end the conflict which has also resulted in many refugees flee to other East
African countries.
