EVERY REGION SHOULD ESTABLISH ITS OWN COMMUNITY BANK

The Prime Minister has called time and that his establishment geared towards freeing citizen in terms of development.
He said the government is ready to help regions to see the opportunity to help the state and property.
"I'll watch the efforts of provincial government is calling for help but convey each region set strategic plans to establish the Citizens Bank," said Fate.
He also said the government has put strategies in partnership with the private sector by the end of this year 50 percent of adults will be reached using the official service of Bank through lay groups and services mobile networks.
"This is due to the fact that banking services and other financial services are an important source in development and poverty reduction, the aim is to ensure that ultimately all citizens in the country are reached by these essential services" he said.
Majaliwa said, currently there are groups in the country to 100,000 units a bag of 2.2 million members and 1.2 Trillion capital of shillings.
He said, these figures indicate that 79 percent of members are women VICOBA and that the challenge in the industry is the majority living in rural areas are not getting formal financial services.

He said, these banks are supervised by the Bank of Tanzania under the rules of banking and financial institutions in 2006.
"It is therefore important for stakeholders to encourage the development and promotion of these banks in the region, this is possible if citizens, Bank community and council will be mobilized to buy shares in Bank of Men, '' he said.
Elizabeth Makwabe Chairman Cobat said, Banks Men are like gold hidden under the ground so the government in collaboration with stakeholders, who are responsible for preparing strategies to bring about efficiency.
"In order to facilitate the establishment of banks Citizens in every province and every district subsequent government must be activist especially through district councils, '' he said.
