Interviewed by soldiers after his arrest claimed that the uniform is her brother who is a soldier TPDF Malamba Force in Tanga and that he wore the uniform in order to avoid paying the fare on the bus which he was traveling.
"This is my first time to wear these uniforms, my brother is a soldier and he came home in Dar es Salaam where he poziacha these uniforms so I noticed nizivae that I pay the fare on the bus when I go Dumila my brother sometimes take money to spend," he said.
In addition the accused has claimed that his work is second-hand trader in Dar es Salaam.
Following the incident the police force limewataka citizens with relatives not to try the soldiers wearing an army uniform because to do so is illegal and will be done.
The suspect will be brought to court after interrogation and investigations completed including the search for his brother who is a soldier with the uniform.
